Assistant Manager

Key Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities:

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Abides by all state & federal laws

o i.e. checking identification for tobacco, alcohol, & lottery sales

· All regular cashier responsibilities

· Supports management in day to day operations and supervision of cashiers

· Assist food service staff members when needed

· Trains new employees and communicates feedback to management

· Responsible for store operations in the absence of store manager

o Money Reconciliation

o Counts inventory for lottery & cigarettes

o Places food order

o Completes gas surveys

o Receives or place vendor deliveries

· Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

· A minimum of one year experience in retail environment, management preferred

· Excellent communication & organizational skills

· Ability to understand and implement verbal and written instruction

· Ability to operate a computerized P.O.S. system

· Ability to bend, stand, stoop, reach, push, lift, and walk the entire workday

o Lift up to 15-30 pounds

· Understanding of basic math

· Read & Speak English

· Reliable Transportation

· Provide proper work authorization identification
